Color rendering index describes how faithfully a light reproduces color, and this 90+ CRI lamp is built for accurate viewing of paint. It lets detailers see true color and flake, judge whether haze comes from polishing or from the light, and compare repaired areas with the surrounding panels. It makes a dependable reference when daylight is not available.
- Compare a touched-up area with the original paint before deciding whether to blend further.
- Verify that refined metallic and pearl finishes look even across adjacent panels.
- Pair it with a cooler swirl-finding beam to inspect both color and defects.
- Helpful for photographing finished work, giving images that look natural rather than tinted.
