This 8-inch extension shaft moves the pad further from the polisher head so you can reach areas a standard setup can’t touch. Detailers use it to polish into lower grilles, intake openings, wheel barrels and deeply sculpted bumpers without the machine body bumping into the panel. It brings correction to tight, recessed zones that would otherwise be left hazy.
- Check thread and fitment against your polisher before mounting the shaft
- Run it with small backing plates and pads for the most control at the end of the extension
- Keep machine speed moderate, as the extra length amplifies vibration
- Handy for polishing metal trim, exhaust tips and the faces of intricate wheel spokes
